WHAT: Stop using Straws
WHY: Straws are not recyclable. Americans use 1.6 straws per person per day, adding up to 500 million straws daily. That is enough straws to wrap around the Earth 2.5 times, in just one day.
HOW: Use reusable straws at home. Carry a reusable straw (along with other reusable utensils) with you. At restaurants, refuse the straw or use your own.
Try one or all of these to reduce your straw usage!
