Transit District

The Transit District office is located at 340 Main Street, in the MAT building.  The Transit District office is open Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM.

The Middletown Transit District provides transit and para-transit service to the City of Middletown and the greater Middletown region which includes Portland, East Hampton, Durham, Middlefield and Cromwell. Service to Meriden is available on the M Link.

Mid-Shore Express http://www.estuarytransit.org offers bus service to Chester, Essex and Old Saybrook.

  • Air: Bradley International Airport, Windsor Locks (27 miles); Brainard Field, Hartford (15 miles); Tweed-New Haven Airport, New Haven (25 miles); small air facilities at East Haddam and Plainville.
