May 12, 2019, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Harbor Park
Come on down to one of Middletown's most amazing resources - the Connecticut River and cheer on all the novice rowers as they race a tournament style regatta. Each team races at least twice and some as many as five times. It's a great way to learn about the sport of competitive rowing and to support our local team as they compete against teams from around the state. There will be food trucks and a t-shirt vendor but most importantly a front row seat to a beautiful sport and river. Bring a chair.

If you’re not familiar yet, COLLISION is a pitch competition – think Shark Tank, but you get to judge the winners. The events are held in Middletown area restaurants. There are 6 startups pitching their business ideas to attendees. Each attendee gets $25,000 in COLLISION Coins to “invest” in the startups they think are most likely to succeed.
The winning venture wins $500. The three ventures from the winning industry each win $200.
COLLISION is sponsored by the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce through the MEWS+ program. Our first COLLISION event at Herd was amazing. The feedback was almost unanimously positive.
So we’re excited for our next event – Art vs. Tech, coming to Esca May 29th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Heavy apps and a drink ticket are included.
