Join Ako Fitness for "This is Me", a fundraiser celebrating diversity, identity, and self-acceptance. All money raised will be used to sponsor Cromwell and Middletown High School students to attend the True Colors conference at UCONN in March. True Colors is a non-profit organization that works to ensure that the needs of sexual and gender minority youth are recognized and met. Their annual conference is the largest LGBT youth conference in the country. Local fitness instructors and educators will bring you a day of wellness, children's activities, and more in an effort to highlight the rich culture and diversity of our local communities. 9am - Zumba 10am - Boot Camp 11am - Yoga 12pm - STRONG Suggested donation is $10/class. Activities for children! Through story telling, games, song, arts and crafts, children will learn about equality, social justice, tolerance and acceptance.

The Middletown Recycling Center will be open on Saturday, Feb. 16 from 7am - 12 noon. It will be closed on Monday, Feb. 18 for President's Day.

The Sanitation District will be operating with limited crews on Monday, Feb. 18th. Customers should put their garbage and recycling out on their regular collection days, but note that trucks may be running behind for a couple days after the holiday. Thank you.
